the mc was clearly self-harming and has been in a bad place mentally since LITERALLY CHAPTER ONE. sure, he has some responsibility in getting himself in this situation and im not saying hes completely faultless nor do i blame the ML for everything but some of the comments here are extremely distasteful and gross. saying he had it coming? that he fucking deserved it? yall are so gross.
i know people get sick of the whole "we met when we were kids" trope most manhwas tend to insert suddenly but i do think this one makes sense considering jj was apparently "a fan" when the two met again for the first time as adults. that meant there had to be a turning point somewhere for jj and this made it make sense
now that the black/white shirt is being brought up, i went to reread chapter 1 and the "hayul" who's been saying he loves her(although it was still in a weird obsessive way)/was being nice to her always wore a black shirt. while the hayul who told her to play dollhouse/being violent/threatened her with the necklace wore white.....










they watched the video of him getting drugged and assaulted yet this is how they "interrogate" him, like it's just beyond upsetting to witness. yes, the mc made some terrible decisions along the way and those decisions had consequences but at the end of the day, he is the victim in this case yet these police guys are treating him like a criminal.
