Am I the only one who’s finding this series really hard to understand?? I feel like the pacing is all over the place and the constant use of words that don’t get explained until the end of the chapter (by then I often forget what the context even is because of the pacing)
I would really appreciate if someone could comment under this helping me understand the story because where I do understand it I’m enjoying it a lot ╥﹏╥
I have a horrible feeling that this is gonna be a situation where Jude jumps to frame Maythan for murder but Maythan will try and save/stop Jude and just end up falling off the tower himself…. Which would Segway into an amnesia arc knowing this series….
Pls let me be wrong (-.-)
As someone who has now read the novel, the eye colour they’ve given mc in this adaptation is really throwing me off. It’s an actually important part of her character that’s described multiple times that her eyes are meant to be specifically a yellowish green. I guess you could argue that the colour her eyes are in the manhwa is green but like that’s really pushing it cos it’s much closer to blue, never mind a yellow-green???
They’re just throwing out the fact that Ed has washboard abs huh. I hardly ever see fan service for the women in male protagonist series nevermind ones that are harem genre
Ed is actually starting to reciprocate??? Kinda unexpected I somehow thought he was gonna be unbiased in his lil group
He looks so excited about eating the turtle… do turtles taste really good or something??? I’ve heard they’re a delicacy in some countries but I can’t even begin to imagine what it would taste like
Ngl I started reading this cos I thought “how ironic, it’s like the evil twin of preference for the possessor” based purely on the title but the premise in these first 3 chapters actually seems pretty compelling. (Not that the upload description does a good job at explaining the premise)
This series has literally the worst examples of female fantasy armour. Like it’s genuinely astonishing how bad they are. The author is so very clearly a porn addict and it’s such a shame cos the story itself isn’t bad at all but the fan service is… not even distracting atp it’s a full on detour. And WHY did they make that Dryad wear nothing but leaves only directly over her goods also look and act like a CHILD. It’s actually creeping me out. At least the literal actual child hasn’t been sexualised so far..? And then all the male characters have just straight up normal, practical armour. It’s so jarring. EVEN THE CAT IS MORE CLOTHED THAN THESE WOMEN

I really like this series’s writing and story but… the way the children characters are drawn really throws me off. Like they’re just straight up chibis. I like Chibi but seeing it next to characters with normal proportions and features makes it feel super weird and uncanny to me and since Liana’s always being taken care of there’s always a normal proportioned character right next to her making her look like a misshapen gummy bear (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
