After reading through the whole story, I really enjoyed it. It felt quite immersive and a different experience than what you typically see with couples and their feelings. There was a build up to their feelings and you could see all the complexities and complications in between, it wasn’t just immediate or based off sexual tension. Also towards the end Yuri gained some toxic behavior towards Seonwoo and Seonwoo kind of overlooked or didn’t really notice it as he was too focused and was being tricked by Yuri for instance when he got injured to get attention from him. The over possessiveness of not wanting him to go anywhere without him and I think even though Seonwoo slept around in the past Yuri still calling him a “manwhore” isn’t right because Seonwoo made it clear that he is only with Yuri. Not Justifying Yuri’s actions but you can see he acts the way he does as he was abused growing up. He was hit by his parents and still is by his dad, his parents were never around to give him affection and they gave their affection to his cousin/sister instead, while ignoring him. He also didn’t have a good relationship with his older sister and had to rely on the cousin/sister for any form of affection and that turned into what it did. That’s why this story is so complex in my opinion. But those are what I think could’ve been the causes for his abandonment and intense attachment issues towards Seonwoo. But overall, I really enjoyed the read and it felt like a fresh new story to me. The build up of feelings took forever, truly putting a meaning to slow burn, but in a good way. I thought it was much more realistic that way.
I thought it was really thoughtful how when they were in the store and ran into the kids that Taeju had noticed that he might start thinking about his little brother in that brief pause, so he takes that moment to pull him into a big hug and distract him. You can just really see Taeju’s development as he starts to care more and more for Euiyoung.
Andrew looks so big, in a good way. They both look so good, but the ending had me. I’m excited.
