I didn’t read the novel, but I did scan the last couple of chapters. Seems like a happy ending for them nothing really changes with their relationship (like mc is still timid-ish and ml gives uhh “gentle warnings”) idk

Most people in the comments are mad and surprised cuz the ml shot the mc who is a grown ass man, but the ml didn't even hesitate to try to shoot an innocent child on the street! Like bruh, if we are going to talk about morals and ethics then we should start by this scene, cuz after that nothing surprised me anymore, and I think the author's intention with this scene was to show the ml was capable of anything, even shoot someone he loves, cuz let's not forget this is not a normal relationship, this is a mafia world full of fucked up people and violence. Btw, the rape scene was fucking bad for sure, but it didn't affect me much cuz the mc himself was able to forgive and forget about the past, he decided to let go of what happened cuz he was really in love with the ml, enough to understand and forgive what he has done to him. Oh and the mc got his revenge in the survival game, and in the side stories we could see the mc is enjoying himself very much and discovering how much he likes this toxic, violent and messed up relationship they have, so yeah is a crazy story, we all knew from the beginning, we know the author is famous to write crazy shit, and those who probably kept reading knew about this, so let's chill guys (〜￣△￣)〜
Btw, I understand the opinion of those who said the mc is a victim of violence and abuse, and couldn't forgive the rape scene, so if it really bothers you and makes you feel bad, then don't read it, prioritize your mental health and read something that does not contain so much violence.
