I know I joked about the ship sinking and whatnot but on a completely serious note I just love that the author is taking the time to make Subaru think about her feelings. I love that for her. This is a girl who didn't care about anyone (boys) apart from Kaoruko, and now she has such close bonds with a bunch of them. Going from that slow burn friendship to a romantic relationship is gonna even more of a slow burn, and I really don't mind.
