I just gave this a reread and honestly the beginning makes it sound like everything so far is more like a flashback than a "this is happening now" sort of thing? Because when Kyon narrates at the beginning at first it sounds like he's regretful of having a crush on Lucaon, but if you think about it, it could just be an apology for what happens in later chapters hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Your right on the behalf, but it could also refer to all the suffering he has to go through.take note, the author did say Lucanon and kyons relationship will have a happy ending, while the others not mentioned. I agree on the idea of him almost sounding apologetic, there’s probably going to be a plot twist to reach the climax. Then again, there’s this entire theory of kyon is a human and Lucanon is immortal to a extent, leaving a choice of kyon becoming a royal.

Well fuck, I just reread it and now that I’m thinking about it, I nearly sure that something bad is going to happen. When you start a interduction, you have to get the audience invested, and it was the author trying to the role the story foward. But, why start it out as if the character was apologetic or regretful without having something bad done to them. So far, the story in present, we have the development in the relationship with Lucanon and kyon, nothin bad as happened-yet. Which is Iike calm water before the storm, the story will eventually reach to a point we’re the action will take place. So far the tension has be building, and the author has been giving a advantage, dropping details about Ryan, sihan, and anything else that will help us in the future when we reach the climax.
hmmmm in my openion he wasn't regretful of having crush on luceon, he is just amazed to himself that he fall for neatfreak,touchy,shorttempered hot headed guy.......
and if u ask me logan is the most suspicious character in the whole series, and after chapter 43 it made me think that Ryan is somewhat a twisted character......
and also the story is just so interesting and smooth not once i get the feeling to drop it....... and also Yeah i too have the feeling that now something bad is going to happen, its a Calm before the Storm......
