It has a good ending FOR NOW but it's actually a bad end point. The guy is also still a human so he would also want to peacefully die. The demon wont let him die and he'll start to argue again. Either the guy will start to loathe him or he'll let him die before that will happened and he'll have to suffer waiting a thousand years tfor the guy to reincarnate again.
