. . . . . alright if I'm gonna be real we all knew taichi had his bisexual awakening when touma n him went into the haunted house and in his frightened state, clung to touma's shoulders. LIKE GO BACK TO CHAPTER 37 PAGE 22. the evidence is all there ok no but I really wasn't expecting that ending,, I'm so happy it happened but I totally thought taichi and futaba were gonna end up together. I'm happy they didn't though because I feel like that would be really cliche,, I mean normally high school relationships don't last anyways and I think the author really heightened the realistic-ness/ relatability of this manga by making that decision. one of my favorite aspects of this manga is about how real it feels. like with a lot of other highschool slice of life mangas i could never see it happening irl bc they're just so dramatic or over the top. yes ao no flag had it's fair share of drama but the character and the events that took place both just seemed so realistic,, like it was actual teenagers just trying to find their way in life, sometimes messing up making the wrong decisions but ultimately just doing their best to try to find their own happiness with really resonated with me. thank you kaito for creating such an incredibly sweet, relatable manga that I really saw myself in.
WAIT THIS IS A CLIFFHANGER RIGHT... these chapters been kinda episodic so far so if they just skip to the next chapter without finishing this up I WILL CRY please please confess or smthn RHFJDJ
