The girl was practically raised all her life to be the perfect wife for the Duke. The only family she ever had was the Duke parent's and the asshole himself. She didn't have friends nor other relatives, so she dedicated her whole existence to manage the Duke's assets and be the perfect fiance. And, after the war, the asshole found another girl and the poor mc is confused.
Bruh, the girl was literally raised with a mindset, THAT'S ALL SHE KNEW. PLUS, SHE BELIVES THAT SHE IS IN DEBT WITH THE DUKES PARENTS SO SHE DOESN'T WANT TO DISRESPECT THEIR SON/FIANCE. Of course she won't have a 180° change and be the baddie y'all want her to be. The change is slow but pretty realistic, let her be.
Smhhh

Being intelligent =/= having wits. She is portrayed as an intelligent woman, but not a socially clever one. And that's fine, we don't always need super empowered women as a protagonists. She doesn't want to be a bother to the emperor by asking for help, and she's trying to end things with the Duke in a civilized way (It was not possible at the end).
And restraining order? I don't believe those things where a thing in that era xD especially in really misogynistic times.

I'm just losing interest in this manhwa, I think that the story is getting stalled and absolutely nothing is interesting to me. I really liked this at the beginning, but maaaan the author really could have made this waaaay shorter.

The only notable thing that happens is fl finds out about ml weaked the magicians of the eastern empire. But it causes no real drama.
When their twins are born and older, the story kicks off again, a romance between the boy twin and rashtas daughter. A war between the east and west, because the twin daughter is a menace, the ex-husbandis crazy with grief, dragon babies, and all sort of other stuff.

Besides from that, I just want to say how in love with thing manga I am. As someone who has traveled a lot and whose dream is to do solo traveling around the world, this comic is just perfect. The portrayal of each culture, the backgrounds, the dishes and even the people. I love it so much, and I really respect the care and investigation that the author has put on it. I someday hope that I can find my special someone and do a world trip with them just like the protagonists of this manga.
I do want the male lead ("uke") and the protagonist being happy. And maybe I'm reading this the wrong way but their romance feel super forced. Idk, but it doesn't click with me. I see why the ML likes the protagonist, it's pretty obvious. But I don't see an organic development of why the protagonist likes the ML. It was pretty out of nowhere.
I don't really like the blonde guy too, he's kinda crazy lmao. Even though the protagonist has a "rival chemistry" with that guy.
