I know everyone here seems to hate Chang. I personally don’t and I want him to get a happy ending too.
His actions were shit but they were out of denial for his own feelings, and then he finally realised his sexuality. So I hope he ends up with someone nice because I’m a sucker for happy endings for everyone lol

I really liked the complexity of the relationship, how it’s not perfect and both of them are bad at communicating.
But the ending felt really rushed - 4 years of no contact and they were okay waiting for each other? Barely any conflict before getting back together even though it took them 30 chapters to realise their feelings?
I don’t have a problem with time jumps in webtoons but sometimes I feel like the authors use it to end a series quickly

It was interesting reading the author answering questions. I thought I was the only one who thought hmm the art looks slightly different at the end than it did at the beginning, so it was interesting to find out that was because of the authors working conditions changing. Whilst this isn’t the fluffiest of stories, I guess the authors mental health added a level of realism to the story which was different

I get not every story has to have a happy ending, but that ending felt like it was so rushed and incomplete? Like the author decided to drop the webtoon and call it complete. It started off with such a strong beginning, interesting mind games, but I wish the ending felt better written. Kinda disappointed :/

I frustratingly loved how the author puts so much detail into the relationship. every chapter I’m like just fck already, but then it wouldn’t make me feel so invested. I like how you don’t really know what director Kang is thinking either, is he falling for Yiyoung, if not then what do his actions mean? Again, frustratingly love how much analysing this webtoon is making me do, it’s not something that I end up doing often. Can’t wait for the next updates

I’m kinda confused so how did Hajin end up figuring out it was Hagyum all this time? I thought when they went back to the school, Hajin still thought he was his brother

Well, Hangyum told Hajin that the one who went to school with him was his brother.. In other words, he says that Hangyum is actually Hanwool and vice versa.. Hajin believed his words but then (as you saw in the latest chaps) he meets Hanwool, again, with Sohyun and she introduces him as Hanwool, Hangyum's twin, to Hajin.. That's how he knew that both the brothers lied to him..

Yes. Go to chapter 28. Find the title. The third picture down from the title. Second bubble. They did not talk much and I did not think Hanwool did a good job being Hangyum. I always thought Hajin called him out on it because of his last reaction and it never went back to them after the flashback. Also, he started to act a little different toward Hangyum. But I guess he just started to believe the lie?

Obey Me is recommended for fans of Killing Stalking just because they both have kidnapping themes, but you can tell Killing Stalking is incredibly well planned and well executed.
Obey Me on the other hand.....where to begin it’s an attempted kidnap romance story but none of the characters go through any development, it’s full of plot holes (two memory losses? One is cliche enough, you just had to throw in two) and feels like empty smut in between some story scenes. If you want to fill time read ahead, but I wouldn’t say Obey Me is worth reading or will leave a lasting impression by any means (apart from the impression of wtf did I just waste my time reading)
Maybe I’m being too harsh, if the story had about 40 chapters it could have potential who knows
I don’t mind spoilers.
can anyone who’s read ahead on the raws tell me if they’d recommend reading? I can tolerate questionable themes if it ends alright? But if it ends really tragically my heart will break lol
