Y’all I ain’t a big fan of kids either but hello??? She’s away from home for the first time from her mother, she was TRAUMATIZED by that one incident, not to mention the mc is treating her like an adult who’s supposed to get along with everyone when she’s just a kid who is homesick. The mc made me so uncomfortable, she’s treated the CHILD like absolute shit for simply missing her mother instead of comforting her like a decent human. I understand that her personality is somewhat on the bad side, but she’s doing a favor to her ‘sister’ for that gem or whatever yet looks like she’d drop off the child to fend for herself wherever instead of taking care of her in a new place.

Me too. I know she's a child. So it's enough to appease and help her when she's crying for 3 days straight, then whining, then refuse to go like thousands of time then acting out again when she promised to stay calm. I know how bad it is to be homesick, more so when you're still a child. But even I couldn't take it when she still refuses to follow Jeanie even after all that Jeanie's done for her. She was even insulting Jeanie on the road for heck's sake, Jeanie is trying her best to help you. And even when she didn't have experiences with children, she still tried her best. So I believe it's already more than enought to snap at that child.
I know its wrong to leave a child who nearly got ran over by a carriage but what more can she do to help that child? She's probably done everything she could ever think of in the past few days. That's why she ignored her for a little bit more. Hoping that she might change despite feeling guilty deep down. But you know what? Even when she got back to the kid, the kid still didn't budge and insists on going back and making a scene.(╯°Д °)╯╧╧ At this point, i believe that if anyone could give that child the treatment she wants and as you guys said 'deserves', then it should only be her mom. No one else. Cuz she's the one who took care of her from she was a baby and until now and the only one who could do her 'justice'. And yeah, i'm a trash too(づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ

I wouldn't care much abt her actions if the child is not the child of the person she calls sister, but it is. like what will she say to her "sister" if the child dies or comes back missing a limb? its not like she would say
"oops, i left her behind on purpose bc shes bothersome and whiny so she almost accidently got ran over by a carriage bc i didnt save her"??? Im not saying its impossible for her not to say that, but she can't be that bad...right?
the most she could do is keep her safe until she gets into the academy and js leave the child there until she is actually needed by her side.
(also, i have a younger sibling and I'm a huge ass to them too but this isn't her sibling)

I love short stories like this<33

Author also made a oneshot, check this https://genkan.io/manga/6604456440-desert

I need someone to convince me to continue reading lmao I’m currently on ch.7 but i have a couple issues.
-I feel like his ‘beginning story’ like him dying and all that shit from his enemy and yada yada was done too fast. There’s no emotional connection to his past life, like explain why that guy was your enemy, explain why that maid was so special to you, why she stood with you to the end(I think that’s what he said about her) but the backstory just ends too quickly. It could’ve been done really well in just one chapter. In fact, if people read villainess manhwas you always see some good backstory that gets you hooked on the main character that makes you root for them to get stronger. Or even other types of stories like this, such as solo leveling, the beginning after the end, omniscient viewpoint reader etc...
-the explanation of the whole system isn’t very good?? Maybe it’s the translation but if it isn’t, it’s confusing how he doesn’t recognize this weird system notification pop up, but understands the entire thing by the same chapter and talks about using it in his past life?? I know it’s probably the book but the fact he’s able to use the whole system so well when it’s been what like a week since he started using it and he’s already completely understood it?
-it seems like a good story, but the whole explanation of the system and the story in of itself is confusing, just my opinion tho lol

Yeah... I can't be help with this one, I just feel like this is just in your face and straight to the point, instead slow and steady.
I'm really just staying for the art and the fights. And I'm really excited to see if he's going to travel into different "Dimensions" like the "Murim" world or a world with dragons and sorcerers, Or even a modern world like "solo leveling" with people who have powers.
Yes... This story is a little fast and Pacy, But I like the concept of other dimensions and trading from other worlds.

I would say the story has its own buffs so read when you feel like....but the thing about crossing dimensions...I don't think that's going to happen... it's more like he can do everything like using martial arts from murim world and using mana and aura of his own world.... he's becoming more like a prodigy...
She realized I repeat SHE REALIZED
