It had sounen ai and romance tag, which it could have been. It also could have been just a man dealing with depression and wondering if people would still have relationships with him if it wasn't for the sake of duty. Too short to know for sure, but maybe that is what the writer intended.

It's been so long since I've read kazoku ni narouyo that I didn't even know this was a prequel until I read the comics. They are such a cute and sweet couple.

So far I just flat out don't like it. The seme is just an over grown bully with almost no redeeming qualities.

It is so nice seeing an established couple working through their relationship and facing real life issues that a long term couple would face. They have love, but they also have the real world to face. It's not all sunshine and roses, but they aren't also dragging on conflicts and refusing to communicate (At least so far).
