i think it's correct as is? because busamen is lying on his back in that panel (you can see his hind legs) so the balls would be seen "above" the butt.

Considering this was sensei's debut work, I think it's very well done.
It mostly revolves around survival and the type of animalistic instinct in human nature that is brought out by a dark past. I think the roughness of some of the stories made them more realistic. This also made them frustrating, as the reader would not get the full satisfaction of "the bad guy gets what he deserves" trope.
The stories all have happy endings, raw emotions and characters with interesting backgrounds and depth so I'd recommend reading them.
