The ending makes me so sad, but I love the writing so much. It’s so real. Not everyone gets a happy ending.
Exactly. Fact is that we're all too used to fictional happy endings. And indeed, this is the reason we read fiction, to escape reality. So, it is always jarring when authors choose "not-so-happy" endings. But, I think when you read fiction with an open mind, endings like this are easier on the heart.
I am literally begging the writer to not turn this into some sort of Jeremy sob story where we hear about some horrible event that caused him to act like this, and that’s why he slit his own wrist. Let that mf suffer. He is a pos who doesn’t deserve redemption.
Serious question. Wouldn’t a mana stone be more efficient in collecting mana than his earrings? I’m not sure how this works, but the main reason he’s so protective over the earrings is that he’s trying to use them to store mana, right? It just seems a mana stone is exactly what he’d want for this.

I’m sad this has ended, but appreciate when an author k owe how to not drag things out. This whole story was *chefs kiss* I may reread because I loved every minute of it.
We all know Dan is too weak to speak up for himself, Potato doesn’t want to risk being on JK’s bad side. But JK holds his tongue for not a single person and HE didn’t immediately address Dan about the message he was sent? Like, come ON! Ok. I think I’m done ranting about this chapter now.
Not a single person questioned why there was suddenly an issue with the equipment after the opposing fighter’s team was in the room? That man was a let to CROSS THE ROOM from the door to reach the bag and no one noticed? No cameras were in the room? Dan didn’t mind the bag? It didn’t click for potato that he SAW Dan spray himself? How are you a fighting team and not a fkn one of you have any situational awareness.
I stg memory’s loss is THE MOST AGGRAVATING storyline. Someone show this man some pictures, videos, SOMETHING because if they have to go a whole season trying to get his memory back I will absolutely fkn perish.
