First generation Chinese American here. My family uses a lot of asian remedies like this one. I remember from my childhood that the bottle version has a really strong scent. It’s like a menthol/minty-ness that assaults your nose as soon as you apply it. Although not unpleasant, it’s not something I’d go out of my way to experience. The uniquely shaped bottle shown in the comic has very watery liquid inside that’s applied using the roller in the entrance to the bottle, and I guess the sensation would be kinda similar to the cooling sensation in icy hot? Almost numbs the skin. Very effective for joint pain and I remember using it for bruises too. I should get some again from my mom now that I’m an adult. (￣∇￣")
