Idk why but I'm always sensing some kind of double standard when people talk about the seme vs the uke. Like imagine if their positions were reversed and the seme was the one who got his sorry ass defended by the uke. The whole comment section would be OVERFLOWING with people calling him out for being a piece of shit. I wonder if anyone would stand up for him and say he was "pressured". Yes, asian society is largely homophobic and I agree that there's a lot of bullying going on. But in this story, one had the courage to PROTECT while the other had the audacity to except forgiveness after running away. They are both from the same society so how can the uke not be called out for being a chicken. He can turn it all around with character development later on but right now his actions were hurtful and unacceptable.
I really disliked what the uke did. No matter how much you apologize, unless you develop the courage to accept him in front of everyone it's not gonna convince me.
