It is because back then marriages were a transaction, and people rarely married for love (I think?) so since the child was made out of the marriage that wasn't love = the kid is a love child ! Because the parent must have went to find love somewhere else. That's my interpretation.
Today, with a lot of marriages made out of love, it is surely bound to create some confusion ! But back then I guess it made sense.

girl if you're in her shoes would you treat them nicely while remebering your 1st life and the trauma and torture they did to you? i think shushu feelings are valid and its better to avoid her real family for now and maybe forever. she got loving family so i hope she will stay with her adoptive family forever

maybe because they really don't believe shuelina on their first life. for the reason that they thought shuelina is a boy and when shuelina showed up, she don't have a proof of being a royal which her powers that was taken by the empress + the brainwashing of the empress to the emperor and crown prince.

That's why I wrote that I understand Mc's feelings. But for the emperor and the crown prince, the events in MCs previous live never happened. She rejects the versions of her father and brother who care about her.
I know MC can't build trust because of the torture of the first timeline, but I also feel understanding and compassion for MC's father and her brother.

I think it's because we haven't been given an explanation for ML behavior yet, but it was also weird that MC kept getting swayed by his looks even tho she's been surrounded by handsome guys even in her past lives even in this life she is literally in a family full of beauties┐(￣ヘ￣)┌

My take on this is that even though she has always been surrounded by handsome men from her previous lives, they never looked at her kindly. She got used to the looks of disdain or disgust but this is the first time someone is genuinely smiling at her and treating her nicely. Pair this with the very person being her fiancee, someone who she’s used to getting ignored by and only receiving cold looks from and she doesn’t know how to react.
