Let's be honest the hate started as soon as the focus shifted on them. Readers refused to even give them a chance and were crying "GIVE US THE MAIN BACK !", I remember a lot of people skipping most of their chapters until Yuyang and Lihuan came back.

Still, there's so many assumptions around these characters when just after they decided to get together the author went back to the main couple.
I loved how this started but after what the seme did, I just feel bad for the uke and think he deserves better
