Hahaha, that author's last face was so hilarious.
However, story-wise this didn't end up at all as good as I thought it'd be. I mean, it's a decent, down to earth and funny enough read, but it lacks challenges, meaningful problems and twists.
Never cared for Bongdeok because his whole character was basically there for being in the way, but also turned out to not really be in the way at all...? It all just went a little too smoothly - for everyone. Had a weird feeling the whole series because I was anticipating that both Won and Teacher would have a change of heart and look towards others. And honestly, teacher and Won's cousin would have been a fun couple.
And what became of all the other characters? Didn't she put in too much time in them to just completely ignore them like this in the end? Won's cousin gets dumped, and that's it - The End? xD

There officially isn't any plot anymore, only fluff and slight attempts at comedy. Together with the future pov chapters showing them as a confirmed couple, the tension and suspense has completely flattened out.
I mean it's not a bad read (mostly because the chapters are short), but it's not much of a story either.

Did not think it'd end that abruptly. I wonder if it was planned, or if the author was rushed?
Maybe if you read it all in one go it won't feel so sudden, I don't know. I kind of expected a few more loose ends to be tied up, but I can't say that I'm displeased that there wasn't more drama than this, it could've been a drag.
The series set the expectations very high with a strong start, and it's a shame that it fell off and didn't quite reach the same standards again, but overall it's still a solid read and a favourite. I'll definitely be reading it again, if only for the first half. The humour is so snappy and refreshing, I really love it.

I don't know who frustrates me more, Yuri for being such an endlessly annoying douchebag and for lacking pretty much any likeable features so far, or Jiri for putting up with his bullshit and not putting down proper boundaries.
I mean, there are definitely things that appeal to me in this series, mostly Jiri trying to act maturely even though he's depressed as fuck. But I hope we get to see some more development soon or I fear it's going to drag.

As much as I think that the humour in this series is and always has been its strongest aspect, and as much as I think Hen's I-see-what-you-did-there-also-over-there face is hilarious, when was the last time we actually saw his regular face? xD I mean, the art-style is different (read worse) these days, but I feel like his character is becoming comic relief before all else, lol.
I don't know, I've loosened up my high standards that I used to hold this series to. It used to adhere to them pretty consistently before, but I just feel that it's such a shame that it couldn't hold out longer in the same tracks, art-wise and story-wise alike.

To anyone who is relating to Sehyun, is depressed and contemplating suicide: know that the hopelessness you feel is temporary, and that there is help for you to get. It might seem like there is no way out for you, but there always is. Try to
recognise that you're spiralling downwards in a dark tunnel right now, and that you're not able to look objectively at your situation.
Life WILL offer you good things - but only
if you're there to experience it. With some patience you can learn to cope with your troubles, and you WILL enjoy things again.
There are those who care about you, even if you can't see that right now, and there will be even more in the future. And if no one else, as someone who's been in this exact position, know that I care about you. DON'T GIVE UP!

Although I kind of felt that the development was a bit rushed in the end there, I'm still very glad to get a pretty good closure to this story. This has been one of my favourite works of Yamamoto Kotetsuko's, even though it differs some from her other ones. I'm pleased that there doesn't always have to be full on with sexual interactions. It just goes to show that she can tell any kind of story, and do it well, no less.

The author is Nanao Suzu, she is just the artist.

It's just so hilarious how he screwed everything up superhard around the actual release, but it's amazing that he's still stubbornly and loyally sticking to his original ideas and wants to do the story justice.
These latest chapters have been incredibly good and I'm so glad that Gintama is getting the ending it deserves <3
I actually didn't feel for or care about the characters much, they weren't uninteresting, but they didn't take a hold of me either. The same goes for the actual story, although its down to earth setting did appeal to me.
However, one thing that stood out to me that I appreciated, was actually the sex scenes. Now, I never read anything for the sex scenes alone, but these were pretty realistic and basically jumped way past all the yaoi clichés - very, very refreshing.
