I feel like if we replace the mc with a female then it would fit right into a brainless shoujo manga. The plot is so cliched, so cliched that I had to squint my eyes to get through it. The characters are so two dimensional.

This maybe an unpopular opinion but this manga is very old fashioned. I mean we've progressed a lot in manga too but this one just feels like a remake of something written in the 90s. I mean seriously, am I the only one who thinks that? Every single plot line in this manga is cliched. If you like it then it's your choice I don't have any right to judge you it's just my opinion.
But that's most manga. Even the lines the characters say during intercourse are the same "No, if you do that I'll...", or when they go on dates it's either the: amusement park, Zoo, Aquarium, or beach. Like there are no other places in the world to have fun. There are tons more cliches and over used tropes but it would take forever to list them all but I get you. Most manga/manhwa have pigeon-holed themselves in the ways of the past.
I only 5 star really good and unique stories.
