I hate this trope of parents with communication issues. Mainly because they always end up being brushed off and the parent suddenly was "doing it for your sake" and that kinda bs. As this is an accumulative set of emotions, it takes some time to build up, but things begin to come to a head, I believe, in chapter 106 to 109, as for them actually forming a proper relationship, that comes close to the end. (If I remember all this correctly.)
