You call this an abomination but like I said, it's a psychological manhwa, the characters are very well written and the portrayal of obsession is perfect. We're also about to see exactly why the ml is so obsessed with Sam-myeong and I can't wait. The characters are extremely interesting to see, the manhwa is not an abomination. It would be an abomination if there was absolutely no depth to the characters. If you want to read Nice bl and nice Yaoi, you shouldn't be here at all.

You're saying the author is trying to get us to feel bad for the ml but I think there's more to this. The ml is CLEARLY terrible and the author has never once glorified any of the things he's done. And sam myeong is genuinely terrified, moreover, we ALL think he's batshit insane because of his behaviour (threatening to k!ll sam myeong and himself) so no, I don't think the author is simply gonna show us the ml's past and be done with it which is why I'm interested to see what they come up with.

The author/artist on twitter has made some arts that basically ships the victim and the grapist. Basically romanticizing their relationship and somewhat promoting it on Media.

Have you been in this genre community for how many years now? I'm not asking to be rude actually, i'm asking if you've been here long enough to have seen other works that has done this type of guilt tripping for the ML, to excuse their actions whether it was bad or traumatic for everyone just so the hate on the character can be lessen and be turned into pity. You've seen that stuff? Cause i've seen it and it has been working.

One of the reason as to why i hate this type of works is not just because of the toxicity of it, it's how damaging it is for the genre and how it corrupts the minds of its readers...you might think that this genre is only eber being read by older people—but trust me...it's not just older people reading this...i've seen and heard kids read Jinx and think that abuse is okay to excuse and glorify if the ML is handsome or that its just fiction or whatever bullshit. I do admit, this work works best as a psychological work from how scarily portrayed the ML is...it could've been good ngl..but when it comes down to ME..it only ever focused on the sex scenes just like how it was on Dark Fall. That's one of the reasons as to why i think this work is no better but the same as Dark Fall (which, i do and always agree with what you said about this.)

With the latest chapter released to relive the ML's backstory, how it was traumatic..how tragic it was, it was in a direction where i am familiar to and that was just a way for the author to make the readers sympathize and somewhat make the ML's action be taken as nothing but less mistakes. But, like you said, other readers will still find this enjoyable—some of them are already aware of the fact that they're a degenerate enjoyer of some sorts but others however...are they aware of what they're been thinking or are they playing dumb? Either way, they're both fucking weird, but i don't judge.

Yes, I've been in this community a long time now and I used to be one of the people who would said 'its just fiction' until I saw how it affects our reality. Now, I usually skip out on the ones that have sex over sex over sex every two chapters while the author keeps glorifying the grape scenes because somehow the (TW) ml thinks the mc likes it anyway. I've seen those and I've hated those and i honestly get where you're coming from, especially about the jinx thing, people are actually weird about Jjk.

Why I wanted to defend this manhwa so hard was because although it DOES have so many mature scenes in the s1, I was thinking s2 was gonna be more heavy and we would get to see more of both the characters and the other new characters that have arrived.
