Cliche but the emotional aspect of it is very raw; I really can’t help but empathize with haesoo. I don’t know if I like the ML though, he’s kind of…creepy? Like I love that he’s supportive of our MC but he’s giving some odd vibes. Orange hair is fucking awful though, just a massive piece of shit on the bottom of your work boots. He can smoke a turd in hell, even then that wouldn’t be enough for scum like him. Ari is naive, I’m hoping and PRAYING that she gets the whole story and is a GIRLS GIRL not some orange hair defending bafoon. *sigh* The ultrasound pictures and lingering fog of a miscarriage just makes me so, so sad for MC.
The grandpa is so nice he’s the best character! I don’t like the subtle biphobia though, feel like they glossed over that..
Personally liked the fact it was acknowledged as a possibility, chalked it down to anxiety from mc even if kaoru was bi, bro js needed the reassurance of kaoru only liking him, tho i do understand where ur coming from
Biphobia is blatant in yaoi, but in the particular manga I kind of understood what the actual issue was. The only guy that Toma dated was a complete asshole and told Toma he was essentially “alone” for those 10 years when he was still happily sleeping with women. Toma’s fear makes sense, but it’s not like he thought anything negative. It was more of a “oh I don’t actually know about this thing” thought. Kaoru’s reaction is a bit more on the line, but even so it felt more like he was drawing the line for Toma while expressing his unhappiness.
They both suck? Like obviously Leo is heavily in the wrong but what the hell was that warehouse scene, that was ICKYY
The ending still pisses me off. What the fuck? Pill up the ass? And this is how we tie up the father shitshow when he sent a fucking ASSASSIN to kill his son’s bf?
Like yeah Duk gwang is hot and I can see how Seongho’s internalized homophobia is really on brand with the times (even though he was an ass it’s because he was afraid of his own feelings) but really? We get the “conclusion” to his relationship with his father from a SIDE STORY about him guzzling aphrodisiacs. Also why was he so chill while talking to Joon? He literally caused half of the mc’s struggle and almost sent ML to JAIL lmfao. We also don’t get a conclusion to that whole ordeal; though I’m guessing we’re supposed to “infer” that Joon did the actual murdering. But he gets off Scott free to go terrorize the general public. I love this story because of the characters but the ending is SHIT. Actual dog shit type.
(Btw, the unsolved murder situation is reminiscent of December Rain, so if you kind of enjoyed the cliff hanger and “on the run” plotline I’d go read that because it’s also REALLY good)

The story itself is a little wack but honestly I’m enjoying this a lot. The descriptions make sense after a few chapters and I’m growing to like the MCs quite a bit. I have hope for this story.
