Slutty ukes r great n I love em, Dey r Super empowering but... not like this.

If u like someone, even though it’s rly rlllyyy hard, find d courage to confess if u can. Do NOT sleep w d whole neighbourhood n use dem as replacements for d one u rly love.
Sleeping arnd is not a crime n we should not slut shame but lying to urself is, and it’ll only hurt u in d Long run.

didn't expect to cry reading yaoi but I'm glad i did. This story was freakin unique, don't think I've read any premise quite like this one, definitely give this a go!

Just confess already Seme-kun!

    Cyxx March 30, 2019 8:10 pm

    He did though

Whats the point of overly feminine characters in yaoi?

Why not just make it shoujo or gender bender? Larger fanbase anyway right?

I mean, titles like Otoshiana ni Hamerarete and Moon & Sun hav ultra fem charas too, but its portrayed almost ironically and/or its important to the plot. Otherwise... what's the point? Wouldn't it be better for the author to market his/her work in another sub-genre?

(No offense to ppl who like it obvi, just wondering.)

    chibiKaneki March 27, 2019 10:46 pm

I like it more that shoujo and i'm not sure why, like i know real gay couples aren't like this and it could easily be replaced with a girl but I still like the feminine uke (as well as the many other more dominant types). I get why people some people don't like it though. It's like a guilty pleasure ig? Or like maybe cause it makes the seme feel more dominant and protective? Like with a girl but gay? I honestly don't get it myself. I just like reading it.

    angel1 March 28, 2019 4:30 am

because the target audience is still female just like with shoujo, the whole point is to appeal to fantasy NOT reality.

If we wanted to read realistic depictions of the male form we would read like bara or something targeted at dudes.

Ah I see, thats interesting! Thanks for answering btw

Though I was thinking more from the POV of the mangaka since shoujo is more accessible to the masses while yaoi is still pretty niche (in my country at least)... and if they could earn more cha-ching that way? Haha.

'Just gonna stand there and watch me burn? Well that's alright because I like the way it hurts.'

Yep. This manhwa pretty much sums it up.
