*me still being confused even after he explained the stuff he did*
I’m so confused that I can’t or don’t even feel mad, the only feeling I have is being clueless lmao
I’m starting to think that if there were a romance manga that had one of the main characters a relationship expert, then that would be a smooth and calm story. Like said by almost everyone ever: “communication is key?”

But it’s whatever cause at the end of the story, the two love each other better than ever and get over stuff in the past. If the FL can forgive everything he did, then cool. It’s none of my business whether or not I’m the one that does/doesn’t forgive him, the FL is the one that’s happy in the end with her choices. They happily show their relationship to everyone now, happily resolved all their issues, shoot down anyone who tries to wiggle their nosy butt in between them, got a baby, the end. Move on to the next story cause nothing will change the ending even if people prefer it to be different because we’re only just readers who react to stuff ╮(￣▽￣)╭ There’s plenty of amazing manga/manhua/manhwa out there that will have amazing MLs that you can choose from

My view of all the characters:

The FL could turn straight girls gay any day lollllll. Especially in that panel where she caught the chick at night.


Prince baby kou: I love him already. It must be because I’ve got a soft spot for children (≧∀≦) it’s just so cute how he’s attached to the FL


Outaihi/Lady Teiki: I love her already, she’s such a cutie. I had a feeling that she definitely knew the FL before. I hope they would meet again many more times

Other ladies of harem: the white haired chick that is all stuck up, I don’t mind her much cause she at least acts like a b*txh in front of the FL’s face and not behind her back. The black haired chick, I instantly feel that she’s shady. The fact that the FL can’t tell what she’s thinking is odd. And how the chick is acting too nice, I’ve seen such tropes before. The third chick: at first it looked like she didn’t care but turns out she’s pretty annoying cause she underestimates the FL and thinks if she learns “how the FL got the emperor’s attention” that she’ll easily be able to take her place.


About the emperor: in my opinion I feel like he’s definitely got romantic feelings for her. Just from their interactions alone, I feel he has admiration for her and like they’re both best friends with their bickering. Tbh it did come as a shock to me when I found out that he has three sons with the other women of the harem, but it’s whatever. I realized that the dude must be around the FL’s age (probably around 34) and it’d be weird not to have children by that age back in historical time.

I truly believe that he could have had kids merely because of his duty as an emperor. Having kids with a woman or sleeping with a woman does not automatically equal love. He might have had his reasons, such as officials giving him advice to strengthen connections to another country by having a child with one of the women from a neighboring country, or maybe having more sons could lessen the chances of things going wrong if suddenly one of the princes passed away or couldn’t succeed the throne. Anyways he states that he already has three sons for one of the reasons he doesn’t visit anyone else except for the FL. He also says that the reason he wanted her as empress was because she could control the army (if I remember correctly), but i feel like that was just a cover up to keep her by his side. FL also said that the Bunrin (emperor) that she knew before, would have said “no” if he wanted to be emperor, but the ML had a responsibility to since his father died


I’ve seen plenty of historical manga, manhua, etc. with harems, and many different cases. I’m more surprised by how people always expect an emperor to only be with the MC, like I get it you’ve seen a handful of other ML emperors that loved only one woman and got rid of others. But let’s be honest that’s unrealistic af even if it was stated in history books irl. Some readers rn are way too used to reading about modern time romance mangas and also grew up in a time where it’s expected the norm is to only have one partner. Historical times, that’s not how it worked. This isn’t gonna be all: “lemme just drop the whole harem full of women cause I only love the one and only FL” just cause readers expect and want that to happen.

p.s. take a look at the manga Harekon, you want something to be mad about? Go over there where the setting actually allows harem marriages in modern times. The ML is much worse too btw (in my opinion) because he sleeps with all three of his wives in a scheduled order and won’t choose only one

So the big mystery is who made the app? Using google translate I translated the latest chapter and from the looks of it, it wasn’t even a human being at all. It’s like supernatural or mythological. The one who made it could be called Cupid. Which actually makes sense because how could any normal human be able to read nohae and yeong’s minds. Though this Cupid really wants things to go his way/his otp to happen since there were consequences for not obeying his requests lmao
