People got no chill in the comments. I’m gonna say my honest and unpopular opinion, and I’m definitely gonna get hated on for it, but who cares? I don’t lol. ;p

I don’t understand why people hated yuki so much. They thought he “cheated” but are you being serious right now? He only “cheated” compared to what your standards of cheating is. For me cheating is when any partner goes and touches another, there’s no difference between going all the way or just touching. To me, they’re both acts of cheating. If that’s the case, then I think the BOTH of them cheated on each other. Why does yuki have to be considered the only one who cheated? Because he actually went all the way? Because he fell in love with another? Or was it because he secretly did it and didn’t tell him that other time? Kaede was perfectly fine being touched by kuji, and he wasn’t used to being the uke so they didn’t go all the way. I don’t know if people are sympathizing only cause kaede expressed how angry or hurt he was, whereas yuki didn’t. If anything I think it’s kinda hypocritical of kaede, since it’s not like yuki was the only one to get all touchy feely with another. I just couldn’t really sympathize with kaede since it seemed like he had a lot of pride and was possesive over yuki but was fine being touched by kuji. I think some of you are getting the term “cheating” and “not being fair” mixed up. Cause I could understand if you get mad cause it wasn’t fair for yuki to go all the way with another and do it out of kaede’s sight. But if you can call that cheating, then what was kaede doing with kuji? They weren’t massaging each other, that’s for sure. Why is kaede the one who’s such a saint? I don’t know if y’all are mad because it showed kaede feeling guilty for keeping that one meeting with sakisaka a secret, but if you look at kaede, to me I don’t think I’ve ever felt him feel guilty. Which I think could affect some readers and make them think that’s just him wanting to just play around a little. Don’t get me wrong, I also don’t think yuki did a lot of things right, but I’m not one to just let it slide when I see that there’s one getting bashed over the other for dumb reasons. What isn’t “fair” is the fact that yuki is the only one being called out on things he did wrong. I honestly think that it’s just bias coming into play and people just favor the more hurt one. For me, cheating is one sided. These two both “cheated” on each other.

I know right? I actually prefer yuki over kaede because of the fact that he was feeling guilty of what he was doing, unlike kaede who only express possiveness and being hypocritical, so what if he's feeling hurt about what yuki did? He did the same thing. Besides it's not like yuki didn't feel guilty. He did feel guilty u know. He tried avoiding and just stick to kaede the first time that they did it. And the second time, although he didn't say it in words that he was guilty, he did and he feel sad about what he was doing, but he can't stop it because he fell inlove and he was also confuse about his feelings. In the end he was able to distinguish love and friendship. U guys just can't or u just refused to read between the line? In all honesty the one who was more in emotions and more understanding was yuki. U guys just refused to accept with ur bais analogy that kaede is more pitiful because he expressed hurt. Guys, really?

It’s funny how many people hate kirishima (≧∀≦). Like I don’t really get why people hate on him so much, from the very beginning we all should’ve known that he was trash, so I don’t understand why some are still surprised he continues to do more trashy stuff. I say that it’s better to stop caring about that stuff and just read with a care-free mindset. That way you won’t get mad or sad. The way I see it, the people who get so angry at him, probably care way too much about him. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ I’m chill since, like yoshino, I don’t care about what he does, and with whom he does it with. As long as yoshino’s heart isn’t broken, then I’ve got nothing to say. Their relationship was arranged in the first place and we all don’t even know if he truly is in love with yoshino, so why does he really need to stay faithful? Even if he did become faithful, it’s not like that’ll be the only reason yoshino would be able to fall for him. Obviously he’s not gonna be the Prince Charming from the usual shoujo mangas, so I dunno why those angry readers expect that out of him. I feel like they push their ideals onto him when they clearly don’t agree with what they see. (I mean, have you seen Hare-kon? That’s a whole marriage relationship in modern time with three women.) Well, that’s just my honest opinion.

On another note: I just went back and reread some chapters and discover some extras that I didn’t see before. Shouma’s tattoos are of koi fish + cherry blossoms, which I think are ADORABLE seeing as yoshino’s name means “cherry blossoms.” That and the fact that whenever he makes yoshino mad, he goes into shock and just stares at her until she forgives him.

I really like the emperor and liangxi together. But I feel like the story itself is a little uninteresting or not put together properly. Liangxi now seems like she’s just the romance partner/supporting character for the emperor(main character), compared to when she was just working for her own goal for her mother. While we just see everything that’s going on with every character. Like I know that the emperor had some sort of goal or quest/mission even since the beginning but it was, and still to me, isn’t really clear. It’s confusing and honestly not that interesting to me in my opinion. There’s so much continuous problems and drama. It makes me wonder where the story is going or if it’ll even end. Sorry, these are just my honest thoughts. I didn’t mean to just make it seem like I hate this story btw, I do like it. I’m not gonna drop it, but I’ll think I’ll put it on hold until it’s completed or check in once in a while.

A BIG FAT UWU TO THIS COUPLE. ♡

I love both of their characters, it’s sweet how they both protect each other. I also love how naturally touchy/comfortable they are with each other. It seems to be a common theme of this mangaka. I’ve read Keishichou Tokuhanka 007 and they also had a comfortable touchy feely relationship. Plus it was also common for the male lead to pull the female lead into his lap, which the female lead got used to and became comfortable. It made me almost jump around my room when I got to see the same scene of ignac pulling Veronica onto his lap. I adore the way this mangaka always adds a mature and lovely feeling to their works because of how they show their couples being so relaxed with their partner’s touch. ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ

Okay not gonna lie, every time I see kirishima sleeping around I’m like: “ew, gross. Get this off my screen.” But the reason why I’m not as bothered by the fact that he does so, is because yoshino looks like she has absolutely no feelings whatsoever towards him (as of now). So I’m like: “whatever, as long as my girl isn’t hurt, I’m chill.” Plus yoshino already (sadly) seems used to this type of behavior with the guys around her. (Kirishima, shouma, and even her grandfather) It’s nothing new to her, if anything I’d be more surprising to find a loyal and faithful yakuza dude.

That’s kind of the point. The problem is that he does this with multiple women and yet proclaims his “love” to her multiple times. Additionally, he just doesn’t care about others in a way that is deep and meaningful. If Yoshino makes one small move that he doesn’t like, he could drop her faster than a raindrop. He’s unpredictable.

This story makes me wish there was a yandere put in here. I’ve seen a couple of stories a bit similar to this one, a few differences tho: the other male lead’s of those stories are mainly virgin losers, and somewhat feel guilty. They all ended up dead btw, one killed by some yandere’s he slept with, the other killed by getting pushed in front of a train by a crazy ex of a chick he slept with. It never ends well tsk tsk ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ After every chapter it makes me feel like I wanna cleanse my eyes by reading the whole bible, bathe in holy water, become a nun and sacrifice this male lead to satan. I’ve been gliding through the chapters cause I honestly can’t bear to read even a little portion of speech between his garden hoe and the male lead himself, including the new tsundere chick. It makes me disgusted and I’m revolted every time I even see the dudes face, the longer I look at his face, the uglier/plainer he gets. The only reason why I don’t hate the other fboi as much is because he owns up to his lifestyle and is straight up honest. He doesn’t hide the fact that he sleeps around and everyone knows it. Which is why it’s easier to steer clear away from him rather than be oblivious to the fake male lead who seems to be a gentleman. I’m only wishing to see that this story is completed and that I can just skip and see the ending. I’m honestly dying to see how he would react if his girlfriend was with another dude, I’d love to see anger or pain on his dead fish lookin-eyed face.
“beautiful mess.” is something that could describe this couple.

Or in more simpler terms: this couple’s got problems lol. They get jealous a lot, there’s always drama, they both have a lot of pride. But I gotta say, gosh dang I love them. Their sweet moments make it worth the spice.
