The issue, imo, is that Hosik and Blondie are best friends and Sunbae didn't talk with Hosik before deciding for him to ask his best friend to limit his contact to daytime when Hosik never complained about Blondie's calls. Are you okay with people making decisions for you that are "in your best interests" without asking you? The nighttime calls were the norm for Hosik and Blondie, they were a non-issue.

Hmmm maybe if he were a new boyfriend i would care but they are married and Hosik is pregnant and honestly while i am aware that pregnancy can mean some sleepless nights he's really just looking out for his best interests, I mean honestly the bigest issue here is that neither Sunbae nor Hosik seem to really discuss ANYTHING, but at the end of the day he still wasn't rude nor said anything crazy he merely asked that he try calling during the day, which considering Hosik isn't working or studying makes even more sense...i wouldn't care?

Yeah, i agree that the overarching problem is the lack of communication in Sunbae's decisions. I've never really liked the thought of someone making decisions for me, which is part of why i can't look at Sunbae telling Blondie to only call during the day as necessarily okay. For me, it'd be one thing if Hosik had complained to sunbae about the calls, but he didn't and that made it feel like Sunbae just decided they were an issue on his own and then went further and decided to take care of it. It's like, if you like the color of your wall paint and i, your husband, decide that you don't seem to like it so i change it, imo you'd have a right to be upset with me since i didn't ask how you felt about the color and i removed something you like from your life even if it's only temporary. I agree that he wasn't rude when asking, but i disagree that he wasn't being rude. It is rude to butt into personal relationships in the way he did. He had a pleasant tone and the question was reasonable, but it was rude of him to ask in the 1st place as he hadn't discussed it with Hosik. Maybe the night calls were a comfort to Hosik. What if, rather than Blondie it had been Hosik's mom? Would it be okay then? Being a husband doesn't give you permission to just make decisions for the other person.

I totally agree with you and I think sunbae said that to blonde because he is possessive and jealous because if u read it over again you’ll hear sunbae say they where they (Hosik and blondie) talk at night it sound like something theyalways do plus it his best friend

I suppose, i mean its obvious sunbae is overprotective and a bit controlling but to me it didn't really seem to be in a bad way, plus add to that Hosik is just so fly with everything that it makes Blondie seem like he's overacting? But i will also say as someone who has already had her own kids i doubt Hosiks mother would ever call late at night especially on a regular basis, which is something i think we need to consider as well the calls might have been normal and comforting before he was preggers but now that Hosik is carrying a baby especially in the last months he really needs sleep and to be more careful, after all once that baby is born there will be nooooo sleep (if this was reality since it's manga the baby might be an angel lol) which from this perspective it makes it seem like sunbae is very aware of this while Hosik being the airy fairy he is is very unaware of how delicate his body currently is.

But i do agree that maybe Sunbae needs to ask Hosik or at least discuss with him before just making decisions.

Oh, okay. It jst seems like a matter of different perspectives. I agree with you about Hosik's mother calling, she was just an impromptu example off the top of my head of someone with a close bond that it might not be considered weird to get night calls from. Thanks for the response. (´ڡ`)

The problem with Sunbae is that he is deciding for Hosik without consulting him. Sunbae thinks he's doing what's best for Hosik, but in reality he is squashing all of Hosik's freedom. He is controlling and possessive. I would be livid if my husband answered my friend's call, told my friend to stop calling, and never tell me about the conversation. I would be even angrier if he refused to let me see my friends or take a short walk in the park. None of these things are acceptable and Hosik's friend knows this. That's why he's been so negative towards Sunbae. He's not "jealous". He's worried about the well-being of his friend.
