Author must have love his mother very much with the way his mc cared of his mother and her well being. This manga is really good and engaging, it's clearly be seen that author lacks the skill to write a romance. Also it's very obvious yeonsu is the fl from the start but author rather focus on mc's development, his relationship with his mother, friends, and people around him more than yeonsu so the romance is just a subplot.
