Dont worry, asami and feilong have more scenes coming up, manga hasnt ended yet.

Even if manga ends with asami and takaba, but anything could happen. Asami could be with fei long in up coming chapters. fei long and asami scenes have always been more deep and intense with so many meanings.

Its all because asami have feelings for fei long but he still feels guilty of their past, he cant seems to move pass that. But that doesnt mean he will forget about fei long, they both have 7 years of red thread connection.

sensei also says that their relationship has been renewed, meaning they both are now in better place than before.

also dont be mad at takaba, you should feel SORRY for him, I cant help pity him cause his relationship with asami is more sex or ownership that any real feelings. even when they talk asami treats him like a child or brush him off. I pity takaba to be honest cause i cannot imagine being in that kind of relationship with someone who belittle's me

With fei long, asami is careful and protective but at the same time he trusts fei can take care of himself. they both fought awesome together. fei long is asami's first love and that will never go away.

also @christina asami says that takaba has no value, so i feel embarassed seeing takaba so eager for asami many times, cause it's like takaba has no dignity.

Asami never loved Fei, as said by sensei herself, so that whole tangent you went on about their red thread connection is already wrong.

Their relationship is renewed because they are no longer enemies but allies, nothing to do with love.

In the novel is stated as Akihito is probably Asami’s first love, so again that part was wrong about Fei being his first love.

Asami said Akihito has no value in Vol 1 (or was it 3), aka more than 10 years ago. The manga’s already moved passed that stage a long time ago. Even at that time, if you actually read the contents of the volume you’d know Asami didn’t mean what he said as Asami took a bullet for him shortly after that.

Majority of the readers are AxA fans, you do know that right. If we weren’t, this manga would not have retained its popularity for so many years, years which Fei did not appear in the manga. It’s not unbelievable that Asami would choose Akihito over Fei when majority of us as readers also prefer Akihito over Fei as a partner for Asami.

I actually like Fei as a character too, he is interesting. If only we could finally move past the Asami x Fei train that’s obviously not moving anywhere I think Fei would be a lot more well liked. There are so many interesting potential storylines for Fei now that his relationship with Mikhail and Yoh is starting to have some development so I have no idea why you are still obsessed about Fei and Asami.

I am a Fei fan, and as such Asami x Fei was my first real ship.
HL was emotional, a lot more romantic, and very BIG contrast to what was going on in the main story meanwhile between AxA, this is a fact.
But the story developed, and Sensei clearly scrapped any idea for AxF if she even had some.
Asami is not in love with Feilong, he does care about him still, and is protective of him, that is true (in the recent chapters their whole fight scene and when he said to him "go home before it gets dark." LOL.), but he mainly wants him as business partner, and maybe ally. And from Asami's perspective this is one of the reasons they would never be lovers: Asami doesn't mix feelings with business. Also Asami wants someone who is not from the underworld.
Even if you care about someone it does not mean you are in love with them.

I entirely get the appeal of AxF, obviously, as a fan. There was something there even on Asami's part in HL, probably just a thought about a one night stand but then he didn't want to blow the chance to be real business partner with Feilong. (though grats for Asami kissing and touching an obviously emotionally vulnerable 20 years old guy, then also getting surprised Fei falls in love with him... so much for "not ruining business relationship" and "not mixing emotions into it".

The main reason to like them is that Asami did treat Fei with much respect, and in recent chapters they are pretty much on equal footing. But the story doesn't go in romantic direction with them, not even to a sex scene. Just to name two reasons: 1. The outrage of fans would be devastating 2. a one night stand between them would damage many characters, Akihito obviously, but even Feilong, who clearly would want more from Asami.

About Axa: Asami treated Akihito terribly at first, I would say pretty much until Aki came back from Hong Kong. But their relationship is progressing, just very slowly. In the previous volume Akihito defied Asami, and Asami learned to listen to Akihito, meaning he starts to get to accept him as a partner, rather than someone subordinate. Finally this seems like a good development for them. And Asami is in love with Akihito, that is obvious.

BTW that is not only true for Akihito that he might be boring without Asami, that is also true for Asami. Maybe more so, because we hardly get to see his real emotions, and thoughts. Only other characters can make Asami show his true feelings.

Anyway, as a Fei fan, I don't get why you want Fei to long after a man who clearly doesn't want him romantically, and by now neither sexually... I get that Fei is still in love with him unfortunately, but I think it is time for Fei and also fans to move on.
Fei has two men who already want him, he can even choose!

Yeah its true. U can check yamane page and click the message icons which are located on the left side. But I about the ending of feilongs as a character I think I must have read it either on archives website, either one of the threads here or somewhere really of not then please please pardon my misunderstanding and sorry to the feilong fans! But she really did try to kill off fei as a character when his biological dad shot him again that chapter was supposed to be the end of fei as we know it but sensei pleaded with feilongs fan base and decided to give him a chance and I think his own story because feilong is a strong character even more than asami himself.

There she only said that she hopes she can write a story for Feilong one day, unfortunately no promise on a spin off after VF is over.
By the time of the FnR novel I thought she was refering to that, but now in the manga Fei has a pretty prominent role, so maybe she is refering to this, because he did developed a lot as a character. Though obviously it is not his story... so who knows.
I do have a feeling after this arch VF might be over, but considering the new volume just starts now, it will be at least 2 more years I bet. So at least we have to wait that much (⊙…⊙ ) But I am not complaining, because Fei is finally back, and probably will have more story in this arch.

I heard that too, that Fei was supposed to be dead (though never from YA), but it couldn't have happened in the HL story, because that is in the past. I am betting he should have died in the Hong Kong arch, but that was also probably a very early idea, because by the Hong Kong arch I am sure Fei had many fans already.
And I agree that Fei is a strong character, and definitely more developed than Asami.

I would like Mikhail with him :) In terms of personality, power, and status, they seem a really good match in my opinion.

Shonen Ai is the bane of my existence, I wish all of these things would just be straight Yaoi already, that's what everybody wants while reading these anyways...

Hahaha I actually prefer Shounen Ai sometimes because they tend to focus more on character development and plot than banging. Also, sometimes I like to keep a pure image of these couples ^ w ^ Some at least XP

Ehh, I feel like that's a false assumption and an often made one. There are plenty of Yaois with actual stories, they just also have the good shit mixed in them to spice it up every once in a while. Shonen Ai's main goal seems to be keeping the audience trapped in a perpetual cycle of cliffhangers and blue balls. But maybe that's just my perspective lol.
