Gonna keep these sweet feelings in my heart since the new manga started up ("blanc") - can't even with the drama. Fucking reality, ruining my love-love fantasy.

This started off excellent, and then got depressing with shoujo melodrama, and then got crazy with the Evil Twin. You could feel the author lose interest.

I loved the sports aspect, though that was kinda ruined with all the bullshit cheating and violence. Emperor was also fucking hilarious.

What I didn't enjoy was how Nono was fetishized and even though we saw her training seriously, the mangaka chose to give Nono this luscious body (female pro athletes don't have a lot of body fat). It never felt like the magaka was taking Nono situation seriously. Womens' Ski Jump has only existed as an Olympic event since 2011 (Sochi 2014 was the first time it was allowed in competition). Then again, I'm not in a forgiving mood with the fucking IOC and their bullshit discriminatory practices against women.

I'm still pissed that this chick LIED about her age and then played victim. Glad they lived happily ever after though, since she seemed nice otherwise.

I really hate the MC, instead of trying to deal with her situation she keeps trying to run off. She keeps seeing this reality where her well being and choice are worth zero, but the guy who actually is undemanding and lets her continue to lead a normal life is somehow to blame for her shit parents.
