It's been such a long while since I've read a good engaging manhwa and man, am I satisfied.
As for Ewon, I could personally related with him about getting emotional venerable to someone besides my family or friends. His hesitation to be in love and give love to someone because they could destroy this cocoon you've built around yourself to warm up and be content with things, is something I am familiar (probably why I never got in a relationship ( ̄∇ ̄"). But then again I do find him frustrating at times like how he should obviously know that he could be hurting Moonkyul after all the talk about never letting go of each other. How he is always ready to run away, I don't know that kinda ticked me off but I guess that his defence mechanism.
As for the relationship between the "father" and Moonkyul, I admit thats really fucked up and the fact the Moonkyul wasn't ready to accept it was so frustrating even though he kinda knew it was wrong. But then again, and I'm not trying to justify this kinda relationship, I think Moonkyul was a victim as well(?). He was brought up that way by the perverted geezer. Somehow I understood Moonkyul's hesitation to abandon the sole person who brought him up and stabilized his life (even though it was only for messed up reasons) and who was a "father" figure for HIM.
BUT that doesn't justify his actions that caused pain to Ewon. Hell, even I'd leave my beloved if I found out that they are fucking around with someone while in a relationship with me and who wouldn't right? So yeah that's how I felt about Moonkyul's situation.
This is what built up inside me while reading this manhwa all in one sitting. Man, I should study now. Thank you for reading through my confusing as hell opinion if you made it through this far (=・ω・=). Have a good day.
I like how this story portrayed the side of the "previous" FL before a character teleports to another world. Most of these webtoons with similar themes usually portray the consciousness of the one who transmigrated and nobody ever goes deep into the feelings of the ones left as a cannon fodder. Maybe it's just a case for me since i never came across this type of reverse webtoons so it is kinda refreshing.
Although I'm still in the early chapters but so far I disapprove of the action of the emperor (same as most of the readers). Still I wanna know what made the emperor hate the FL so much? That means to stay I will continue to read this even this is frustrating and will eventually hurt me. Now I shall go back to reading since I've said my piece. Good day to you and may you stay at home and safe for COVID19. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
