I continue to prefer Masato, his situation is so sadly realistic and I have the impression that he has always loved Hotaka, in silence.
But the more the story goes on, the more I realize that Chika also has such a deep pain, hidden behind those forced smiles. I don't like how he acts around Hotaka, taking him almost by exhaustion. But this is the way in which people who know they have little hope are acting, trying to stock up on small pleasant moments, waiting for the arrival of hard and painful times.
Maybe I should be mad at Hotaka. I think he realized how much Chika loves him more than he can return. To act like this means to consciously massacre someone. Chika will come out in pieces :(
