One thing about me is that I’m honestly in love with the art style. It has it great moments and as an art student I even took some screenshots to study. The story itself at the start did make me want to drop it but I pulled through and it got better. I’m so glad that MC sticks to the narrative of making the Glory guild understand that their failure in protecting his district area isn’t something he’s forgotten or that they can brush off. I feel sorry for the blond healer guy as he’s clearly being manipulated and has to suffer through experiments to become perfect.
Another thing I really enjoy though is how circular the story is. How everyone relates to each other without communication. Like scientist guy who helped MC talked about being stalked by assassins as a reason to go into hiding yet the Glory’s mad scientist recounts desperately that he was hunting his competitor and stomped him out showing that both were related. Same with the puppy drug things, mentioned in the underworld but then brought up by Glory.

79–to be fair the art style is so amazing. The story is amazing but I hate when the plot drags slowly and I noticed there is a purposefully low content in each chapter, thus dragging the story out. I do get that to flesh out the story fully we will need to get her grow slower but for the fact that Mabel (MC) was a kid for over 50 chapters which are mostly just filled with fillers is a bit annoying. One thing the story did good tho was ensuring that her past trauma with abusive parents would’ve dissapear quickly so kudos to them. However Mabel acts growth stunted (which I could understand as even though she was an adult in person previous life she was neglected)—examples of that is how she’s been exacting her secret revenge against Duke Javies (which sued dine smartly using her hidden godly power of talking to animals) but she doesn’t wonder why his children are “good” to her despite his father? Not saying that all children follow footsteps of parents but literally EVERYONE is telling her to be cautious with those children—EVEN THE DUCCHESS—which is something she time after time ignores. For someone very well aged (mentally) she knows the duke abuses his son (who also crushes on her) yet she thinks putting in in worser moods isn’t making that worse? Also why did she move on from seeing the guy besten up twice?? For someone who knows abuse herself she claims to be his friend yet is lacklustre with her attempts to help him. She asks her father what will be of him when Jarvis is put on hoise arrests but just complies when her father tells her to focus on her recovery! Then the Timeskip passed meaning it’s been 1+ so thus meaning god knows who does Javis do to get money (again he tried to pimp his son out) so what stops him from beating him up at home?? My concern with the plot and Mabel is that things only move in progression. The magical cat rarely appears anymore despite being a key feature in season 1, the holy Roman emperor only appears once in a while whilst the whole plot is about her revenge, everyone doting on her and occasional jealousy of the attention she get. AND SHES NOT EVEN 10 YEARS OLD YET. to conclude although it’s a great manhwa, I don’t really like Mabel as MC as she seems to only take things at face value.
