I think that it's not good deeds that lighten the rock it's achieving things by yourself with your own effort, Mikhail was "saved" by lux from the volcano before it collapsed so it heavied the rock and we know that lux liked to use people to achieve his goals in the past so that's why it was so heavy. I might be wrong but the main theme of this whole thing being self achievement i think I'm pretty right no?

Ngl I can't continue to hate trashta, I'm sorry but all she wanted was to shine beside the fl and it pains me that her stupidity and blind trust caused her end. Roteshu is way more to blame than her like absolutely.
True. Plus the entire reason for her suffering is because the empire has such an archaic system of forcing children of slaves to be slaves. Rashta didn’t even do anything to get that status. So I also put blame on all the royalty that let that be a thing. Like my only qualm with our lovely true express is that she doesn’t seem to ever bring up that that system is flawed (as of maybe up to 5 chapters before what is currently available - I’m letting it marinate).
And sorry but she literally had the mind of a child so she didn't know better and tbh from the beginning to the end she proved that all she wanted was to be sisters with fl because she admired her so much. The one at fault is clearly roteshu for coercing a girl with mind of child into his dumbass plan, SHE DIDN'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO READ OR ALIGN A SENTENCE. Yep true. I will however blame Rashta for pushing the sister thing on the Empress repeatedly after she rejected her tho. Like even if it’s coming from a place of adoration and positivity, no means no. That’s more of an understanding how to interact with people thing that I would expect anyone past the age of 10 (even in bad upbringings - minus the overly pampered/neglected kids that are given everything) to know. You can’t force people to be your friend, so I don’t get why Rashta thought that asking for an even more intimate relationship than that from someone who doesn’t know her would work. Like if she can comprehend intimacy to the point of falling in love and having a child with someone (even if it was manipulation, she still had the emotional maturity to understand the feelings she was experiencing), then she can understand how 2 people need to want the same relationship for it to happen.
Shoveshu just constantly made awful decisions. Like the dude could’ve at least gotten her a tutor for etiquette so she could learn that her being a mistress would automatically pit her against the empress and in no way created a familial bond between the two. Hate that he used her and didn’t even try to make her smarter (either for her, the empress, or the empire’s sake).
