She didn't kiss him for that reason - to make him fall in love with her. Didn't Authur ponder over her words? she did it cuz she didn't wanted to be fun of and be rejected half heartedly lk he did with the other girl. In any romance, unless both fall in love at first sight and get together, the one who falls in love first usually does things to make the other notice them and fall for them. Even if they do it super blatantly and directly. Or else how can they expect love to be returned. Should she just sit in a corner and think about him, hoping he'll return her love one day? Or be like oh he doesn't love me so I shouldn't even think of trying? If no one pursued someone who didn't love them back, half the couples in the world wouldn't even be together.

It's fine if you don't like her. It's just that the number of hate comments on female characters in stories of this genre is just astonishing. Like that poor woman might have just appeared for one page and people just jump on her. She's so annoying, Omg I hope they don't get together, I'm going to stop reading if there's romance, is this a harem...blablabla. And she hasn't done shit. And the hate male characters get is nothing compared to female characters even when they may be hella worse than the females. I haven't read a story that hasn't hated on a female character that isn't even a potential love interest in this genre. Even today I read 5 terrible hate comments which made me laugh cuz it was so stupid. I am talking too seriously but considering the number of women that read on this site and the fact that those sexist hate comments on women are most likely from women itself.
