Unfortunately? It would have totally ruined this manga if it had been rushed and it would not be as significant as it is now in my book. That’s why it’s a masterpiece to me. Every chapter there is some progress, though it’s slow progress. As much as we want to see them get married already, any rush would severely disappoint me. I hope that doesn’t happen. It would be a waste.

The slow development makes it seem more realistic instead of other mangas where the uke immediately accepts the relationship,making it seem quite rushed and that not a lot of effort was put into the plot of the story. But I do understand the frustration of not seeing Souchi say "I love you" to Morinaga. I can't wait for it to happen uwu !!
