Same, it reminds me a lot of the Scum Villain’s Self Saving System (mc that transmigrated into a novel where he’s the villain that’s going to be brutally murdered by the hero, and to escape that fate he got close and friendly to the hero and the hero fell in love with him instead and never got a harem of girls, lol) the plot is roughly the same, but this one feels more tragic- the scumbag novel was more goofy and smutty, you should check it out!

I wish cheongho had been more open with yirim about the source of his trauma. I feel like that would’ve helped the situation a bit later in the story, though it’s clear both of them were acting on trauma response.
