This BL has done it and made it. It really understood the idea that humans are fucking complex. Although I do have some characters that I dislike in this, are they really demonized in any way? No BRO. Fucking hated that suck-up, but in the end, he's just a little shit who doesn't know any better. I know he'll eventually mature and change somewhat. (Still don't like him tho LMFAOOO)
The MC has so many flaws and many mistakes committed in his past, but he has got to be the most relatable MC I've ever read about in BL. Him reaching to pessimistic conclusions without talking to the other party is what hit me like fucking bricks. Comparing self-loathing to narcissism at the same level got me PONDERING. Both elements lead to hurting the other party, and I just cannot..... DUDE. Also him always thinking about the past and thinking about the what-ifs,, what he could've done to change shit. His slight.. actually, no. His STRONG inferiority complex when he felt like he got rejected by his peers just hits close to home..

And can I also say how much I love that they shit on typical BL tropes ?? I enjoy those tropes though not gonna lie, but it's just interesting to see an author actually mentioning those in BL. Seen a bunch of parodies of characters transmigrating to the BL universe in terms of emphasizing these cliche BL tropes, but seeing it in an IRL setting is different. Not to mention, author projecting their biology knowledge in this is the cherry on top..
