Much better plot than POTN for me, tho the art on that one slaps harder. The seme here is also a jerk but at least he's not some spoiled brat who doesn't know any better like Seungho; the uke is too pretty here that the first time I saw the cover I thought this was not BL, and even after reading I can't help thinking from time to time that the uke is just a girl character pasted in the body of a boy. On the upside, he's not the whiny type who's just always looking down on himself, he's also really practical in his judgement-- this could also be due to him having educational background as a kid when their family was still noble. I think it's going to be a battle of wits between the seme and uke, coz the seme is cautious enough to know that since the uke's family was killed by him he has grudge to hold, and the uke is also trying his best to be careful not to let his plan of killing the seme go to waste. Neither is letting down their defenses so far into the story, and the author apparently has a whole lot in store for this one. I think the second uke who's still not in the story is going to end up with the second seme coz that dude was drawn too good to be a villain and his character profile is not repulsive enough for readers to not care for him.
Actually, it's my bad. I stopped reading this for a while because I wanted to pile up the chapters since I can't stand reading one at at time. I wrote this topic before the introduction of the brown-haired guy, and knowing that now, I do think he is the 2nd uke that the author mentioned, specially the way it ended on Ch51 with him thinking the 2nd seme is handsome. HOWEVER, I did read the raws (most recent is 54) and there's a possibility that he might get killed, so let's just see about that.
Yeah, I felt relief when I learned this too. I dunno what's gonna happen to him tho, I don't think the seme will let him serve alongside the uke anymore coz that dude's got serious trust issues, and since he (brown-haired guy) already showed that he would do stuff on uke's favor., he's already done for. MC might call upon the 2nd seme to help brownie tho and that's probably how they're gonna get entangled with each other (if they are to be the 2nd couple that is), or brownie might end up wandering the streets after being thrown away and see the 2nd seme in some public place, then he'll approach him or something coz he knows he's a "friend" to the uke. We will seeeee
but oh my gosh the vengeful setup and the regret arc is sooo good, or maybe I haven't gotten sick yet? there are others with regret plots that make me cringe easily coz either the perpetrator suffers too much in comparison to what he did or he's easily forgiven by the victim, well . . not this one. Though most of the characters are convinced the uke is the same person, the uke himself is very determined to continue the charade, he also doesn't fall for the same tricks and his actions does not gravitate towards the seme, he legit wants to move on with this new identity and live another life; meanwhile the seme's suffering for me is justified due to his treatment of the uke prior to the accident, as well as his stubbornness in the past and even in the present, I like seeing him chase after the uke with all his might after he blatantly treated him like trash before, even has the gall to say it's the uke who agreed not to have any label between them and they're not in that kind of relationship even after 5 freaking years of living and sleeping together?! and now in the present after he (uke) supposedly died, he suddenly bought a ring and wants to marry him? and then, he (seme) also has the nerve to say he never used the uke as a substitute when he literally dictated his every attires, and even food preferences just so it could match his "childhood sweetheart", like hu u foolin fam?
I read some commenters say that it was due to seme's mother, and that the childhood sweetheart dressed like that in the first place to mimic seme's mother-- so technically the style that he's making the uke dress up as is his mother. For me, that just opens a whole lot of other issues for the seme, so apparently now he's also a mommy-con on top of everything. Also that doesn't explain the food preference and also how he never, not even once denied in their circle of friends that Blondie is his childhood sweetheart, they were basically always calling them together an item, even out loud, and right in front of uke at times, but he seme was always fine with it.
I am really looking forward to how all this tension will continue to unfold, and eventually wrap up in the end.
Cliche to the core, art is nice, characters could defo be improved, but it has that semi-angsty trope on players ending up being played with their emotion when the other leaves lthem, yeah it's petty but I like that chasing trope, gives me da feels. However even for that I wasn't satisfied coz the freaking seme just had to get hospitalized and that's all it took to get the uke back into his arms, he didn't undergo any development at all, what an absolute shame.
Senior director seme x junior CEO uke. No, they aren't rivals, it ain't that trope, the seme is still higher; the uke's company is just a subsidiary that they hired for a project.
They first met at a bar and since uke came off as eager and even agreed to sleep with the seme just so he'll look at their presentation, seme misjudged uke as someone who sells his body for favors and declines to follow through with the agreement, uke feels bad for himself. The project (uke's) though was really good, so seme still chose their company on that grounds. They start working together and eventually realizes that their first impressions were wrong, and thus the romance commences heheh.
Great leads, likeable side characters, actual communication so any potential drama and misunderstanding is shot down immediately. Character development, specially for the seme. Sweet and fluffy but also sizzling hot seggz scenes. GAH, I just love this. The score goes beyond the scale of 5/5 for me.
He's a mob office worker in their company by day, and a fashionable masc gay by night. Eventhough his appearance changes and so does his attitude, the same traits and personality is still consistent between those two versions of him. Uke is likeable too, he has a prince complex because he's literally treated like a prince by most due to his pretty face and aura. Playing with each other, ends up losing to one another instead. So cute and nice plot progression, chemistry between leads is also great. Waiting for more updates

so it makes sense why the plot skips from point to point. Cute dynamic with a queen uke who's not really clingy with his seme but still showy and devoted. A lot happens to them but not much character development. The short chaps about the berserker and his sword was interesting too, I would like to read more about it.
