andy ends ups slapping heechan or something along those lines, and they’re arguing, andy’s crying and i think on the floor & that’s when minjae walks in and heechans immediately trying to tell him it’s not what he thinks bcos it looks like heechans been hurting andy, but minjae instantly sees the mark on heechans face from andy, and straight up punches the shit out of andy, doesn’t even ask any questions, he js saw that heechan was hurt and went livid, he then grabs heechans hand or arm and gets them both out of there. (some things might be wrong so excuse my memory)

i haven’t read the novel in a minute so excuse my memory, but basically maxi has a miscarriage and it’s literally that saddest thing ever bcos both riftan and maxi never knew she was carrying and so much is happening leading up to that moment that make those ch’s truly heartbreaking, also maxis reunion with her dad, (this happens after the miscarriage) she ends up going back to her hometown and her dad absuses her again and it sucks seeing Maxi thinking how worthless she is after all she’s been through, theres so much more (my memory’s just a bit hazy) and its explained so much better in the novel, there are still some happy moments for sure but during this war arc, it’s most definitely the most gut wrenching. However fear not as Maxi and Riftan do bounce back and like the knight in shining armour he is riftan walks in on maxis dad abusing her and beats the shit out of him, and there’s so much more happy bits that happened after but i think i’ve already spoiled enough
no wait i got that wrong, it’s when maxi meets her dad again, that he’s telling her how worthless she is that she couldn’t even bear a child or something along those lines so that’s how maxi ends up finding out abt the miscarriage so the next arc is really f’d up, like it js gets worse and worse but then so much better but it’s absolutely amazing and so so worth it

the marriage affects sasya real bad, his mental health worsens and he starts hallucinating real bad he almost dies, also Karel’s getting married to the duchess, and it’s a contract marriage, however eventually (there’s still loads of shit they go through) they live together till old age, and sasya dies of natural causes, (their old by now so they lived together happily for years) and as soon as sasya dies karel commits suicide as he wants to be with sasya forever, so it is in fact a happy ending in a way, so don’t feel too depressed as everything falls into place eventually

Even it just a marriage contract, it affecting sasya mental health badly. He was on drug again because of depression and in delusional near to lake where he fell. George assume it as trying to commit suicide. Poor sasya. He really don't deserve this

It is so much worst after this. The amount of Sasya suffering is endless. Ppl say he deserves this because karel had suffered for him but i don't see sasya fault as much i saw in karel. He didn't left Karel, he left the house. If you had mental illness it would drove you crazy while staying alone for years. Where is his fault when he wants to be someone better while waiting karel at other place? He can distract his mental delusional if he got things to do isn't it? When karel take sasya crime, sasya didn't ask for it, it's karel who propose the solution. Sigh... Why so much ppl couldn't understand the real problems here. So sad for sasya..
