and iksu showing up to his match was like a confession, because he chose him over his (ex) boyfriend. he never liked his ex, and even tried to break up with him before rememberrrr so that day when he was put between the two of them, the ex said to decide on the day of the match- he was basically asking for more time to see if iksu was sure he wanted to break up with him.

I do agree it feels a bit rushed between our main couple, especially if they’ve been best friends and are suddenly kissing, unless there have always been feelings between the two of them that we haven’t been privy to. I also think the author didn’t want this story to be about that, it’s a plot we’ve seen in every single friends to lovers we know how it goes!
