Wangwang you’re not even LH’s best friend or friend to begin with. You forcedly implanted yourself in his life hoping to manipulate his romance like one of your fave bl stories. There is a HUGE difference between Chu Huanwen saying Yuyang went to the bar alone to LH and Wangwang forcing a confession out of Yuyang.
Also Yuyang must fix himself. Not for Lihuan nor for a chance at romance but for himself.
Now idk re: the pacing cause Ifollowed this when it still had 15 chaps in, thus I have to reread everything once it’s done. I won’t invalidate comments who says this drama is getting over the top, when you are served with stories such as Therapy Game or Heart no Kakure who had well written characters. I get the frustration. I am undergoing that as well. That’s why I only scan the raws. Until they talk it out properly, I’m not reading any of the translations.

Actually, I think we are supposed to see her as one of LiHuan's friends. Even though we spend most of our time on YuYang and LiHuan, she and XiXiao hang around him often.
Idk about you but for me, it takes a while for me to call someone a friend. Based on how Wangwang was introduced in the story, I can’t call her one. Yep she can be a close acquaintance but friend? That’s totally something intimate and a privilige someone must earn. I understand that LH is kind to people. But looking at his enigmatic character and his history with being misconstrued by people to boot, I don’t think he immediately considers Wangwang as a friend yet.
Maybe not, he doesn't seem like the type that makes friends easily, but there could be stuff we don't see.
I want him with short hai again tho. Makes him look lethal, rugged and hot.

I just want Lihuan to lay everything out to Yuyang and then leave the dude be until he can decided if he wants to be with Lihuan or not. Err at this point in time, I'm reading the manhua per update. So it may feel like the pacing is slow for me. But considering the planned 200 chapters for this story. I think going roundabout on the plot is necessary, or else we'll be at the ending before we can even reach chapter 100.
I'd reserve my critic for the storytelling when the whole thing is complete and I've reread it. Tbh cstories are v slow in progression. I've been reading cnovels recently and yeah, confession parts are read on 100+ chapters into the story. Frustrating? I know. But I guess that's a thing.
