yes FL being apathetic and emotionless to jihyo was bad but not everyone reacts or is able to show their emotions on cue. Jihyo practically treats the entire world but FL the same way.
the issue is despite both of them having similar loneliness etc they have completely different relationships with vulnerability.
FL is like me, shields and hides everything not allowing the slightest crack, all subconsciously. Restricting emotions causes you to feel confused over what you felt naturally since you havent allowed yourself any chance to freely feel emotion to know. Its evident now FL's mind is beginning to shift gears she was shook she had cried.
Jihyo on the other hand is more familiar with vulnerability with how little agency he had constantly forcing him to be shamed with nonrefuge to hide. Which is why I felt although he hated FL seeing him as "dirty" he didnt push her away and just treated himself the way others always had: put their needs first. FL empathizes with him but is too scared to show herself since she cant empathize with herself so how could another person do that? but at least she can do tht for others.
i feel they learned alot through each other and i honestly want them to be happy together agin
