Honestly, the reasoning is a little flat. But looking at the kid, he's probably a high schooler who's been oppressed his entire life and has a lot of grievances towards the world, can't help it if he's gone twisted. Environment and mentality are major factors that affects people, his situation is already pitiful and now that he suddenly realized his unfathomable power, desires for self fulfillment take over
In the next chapter he will hit josh in the head and tryna shoot him, also try to drown (kill) him too after josh mistakenly thought he was drowning in the pool etc
It's ok if you're looking for a one-sitting read, can't deny it could've been better though. I feel like this falls under the category of basic, it has the necessary framework informations but there are a lot of inconsistencies creating plot holes

Is there any manhwa bl where the power dynamics aren't so obviously tilted? I'm a little tired of the repetitive troupe where it's so obvious who the bottom is, and the top is always some towering alpha who only crumbles in front of love (well, some of them). Not sure if any manhwas would fit my description, sorry if it's kinda vague I also can't explain it well, it's just that the stories feel mass produced these days with their own twists, but still almost identical
