I'm confused too .. i maybe wrong but the little flower was born a long time ago, he was smol and has low energy so he worked hard gathering and stored that energy for a very long time so he could ascend into a higher diety but big bro passed by and hit him like a truck stealing his energy in the process that lil flower demon worked so hard to gather over a long period of time and big bro ascended into a higher diety instead of him from that moment he was demoted to low class earth tudi basically it's big bro's fault he had a shit show life

He just caused the lil flower to lose his focus for a second, enough for the lil flower to accidentally lose his grip on all the energy he had gathered, losing it in the same way a balloon loses all the air you just pumped into it if you accidentally lose your grip on it, right before you manage to tie it up:
That kind of energy is only obtained and appropriated after a long meditation and long-lasting deep mental concentration, so when the Bog Bro passed by while the little flower was still in the mid of it, and accidentally disturbed the little flower's deep concentration, a second of distracted attention was all it took for the little flower to lose all the energy.

Just in case anyone else happens to be reading this:
The energy and power that the lil' flower lost did not end up in Big Bro's possession, it just ended up lost as collateral. Since Big Bro was born a higher deity, he was already a higher deity and he never needed to steal anyone else's energy in order to become one. And, as people said in another thread, Big Bro did what he did to the lil flower because he was being manipulated or under the influence of something, and didn't even seem to know what he was doing, or whom he was doing it with, let alone doing it with any particular purpose.
It's anyone's choice if you don't think that excuses what he did, but to avoid the confusion keep in mind that deliberately or accidentally stealing someone else's energy or anyone else's hard work was never a motove that played any part in all this entire mess, and that's not what actually happened, either.
You know... I was so bothered and uncomfrtable because shunta's actions. I only kept reading becasue i loved the other work of the author, and i was interested (still) in see how everything would resolve.
And i think one of the main reasons why it make me feel unconfortable, is because is so real. Almost in all the world, sexual education is borderline taboo, super misinterpreted and the little that the schools impart is garbage. So, if our caretakers (parents or wtv) didn't educate us, we're raised by porn, toxic romantic love and machism.
So in this outlook, is actually accurate that shunta would force himself on his friend and that tamaki would keep quiet about his mother's behavior. It's so so sad and i'm so glad shunta is processing and acting quickly.
I feel the same about this manga. I had a hard time developing any attachment to both MCs, and the first 7-8 chapters were... unsettling and disturbing. But both the art and story telling are superb, plus we finally see a speck of light from Shii, so I am definitely rooting for them.
