I read both the two volume but something still felt off. Like how Ingle comforted Loki by SEX and THEY ARE FRIENDS or the fact that Alkil raped, forced sex on Loki is truly disturbing. The theme (slave, bdsm,...) is kinda disturbing too.
6/10: Alkil is a red flag, I don't like how Loki always give in. Everything is messed up in a certain way. Plus, all the sex scenes feel violent to me cause Alkil is too pushy and manipulate.

Can someone summary this story for me? I'm curious but I don't want to be traumatized ╥﹏╥

Hi. This one is a tough ride , as the MC is heavily traumatized , and we get to experience his ptsd first hand (very realistic depiction of ptsd with divese somatic and psychological manifestations, but notably , numerous flashbacks from traumatic experience in which was being coerced by his brother in law , who kept him tied up to a bed for 10 days. _ basically he was the victim of a sexual offender who was obsessed with him and wanted him for himself. And MC is struggling to set himself free from that trauma.
In the end , he will go to therapy but at first he is getting free therapy from his two lovers :-o they both adopt him <3 and they both want to take care of him, knowing the existence of the other lover. <3 so it's a story of resilience and healing, and a polyamory gay love story. _ but yeah it's a psychological tag and a '' read with caution tag '' definitely not a light hearted comedy nor a bed time story! _ and it's 19+ topics (maybe 18+ but yeah it's very psychological and the topic is trauma from SA so it's going to be hardcore at times ) _ a milder version of this story would be reading Lost in the Cloud _

< Checkmate > is also a good alternative , !! It's a BL story with a plot, and the focus is on the revenge and the strategy to targetting the college art teacher who mistreats his students and coerces them! _ it's a lot more festive and it's satisfying to see their solidarity and intelligence coming together so as to free the students from the bad karma they are in. (It's a lot less disturbing in terms of what we see.) _ cw : chapter 6 is unnecessary (yes it is a rape scene) and you can skip it entirely!!

Ouroboros is very interesting intelectually, but it's not for everyone. It's a tough call. Read the previous comments on this comment section they are quite eloquent. This story makes the public experience trauma from the inside out. (Trauma with a big T , and the behavioral/psychological consequences of it.) _ It's a very humbling experience, and brings a lot of compassion and understanding, for the main character. (And yes it's a stressful experience)
When I read this one, I thought I had read it somewhere before lol. It's just too similar to "Kimi no yume o mite iru". I would give this a 7 out of 10 because of the stiff art and I feel like it did not dig deep enough in the characters's emotions even though the plot is pretty good.
