Basically the ML is weird and is bullied for it.
Then mc saved the ml from the bullies (which is I think was his friends, not sure if I remember correctly) and then mc and ML became friends and later on with benefits lmao. But then, he slowly realized how crazy the ML is and basically let him be bullied again(?) I do feel like the mc's actions is pretty reasonable in some cases cause I think the ML is truly a psychopath. But yeah everything is from the mc's perspective so I don't know for sure why the ML's obsession is so deeply rooted.
