So I think what's happening in 3-4 is that yoichi is becoming a shinigami without him knowing but kitahara, knows about it and because of that hes scared if he writes about yoichi he might become a shinigami so like on chapter 3 its kitaharas pov where it shares his memory and his thoughts of yoichi becoming a shinigami so he distances himself from yoichi but while on chapter four its yoichis pov where it includes details of what happened before he saw kitahara go into a hotel, im kinda confused but this is what I think is happening the manga switches from povs alot but you'll know from the scenes
