I’m curious to see Ophelia’s POV tbh she doesn’t seem stupid from what we have seen of her so I don’t understand how she wouldn’t be able to sense the demonic energy coming from Nix. Unless something was intentionally blocking her I just can’t see how she made such an insane mistake.
My theory is Ophelia is a regressor but she can only go back in time to just before/when Nix attacked the mansion. Now she is trying to make up for the mistakes she made originally, which resulted from her trusting Nix in the 1st timeline. This is probably why she saved the MC via her power and not by just getting rid of Nix right away (because at that time she was too late)
