You should be able to tell by now that nothing ever plays out the way readers expect. Cárcel will get his answer but in a way that most readers don’t expect. Despite not having memories like some of the other characters, he’s an incredibly intuitive man. :) Besides that, even though Ines chose him when he was 6 years old to use him and dump him, he’s the kind of man who will still love her despite knowing this hurtful truth.

Okay so a depressed probably somewhat suicidal teen gets pulled into her own perfect fantasy world. And then gets stuck in an endless timeloop. Kinda falls in love with the sub-male lead (more like obsessed) but if she tries to get with him he dies???? Solidifying that there is nothing she can do to free herself from this timeloop. Then once she's lost it another player is inserted. Obviously angry at this whole situation, doesn't realize how fragile the mind of the author is. Feels like the author is being played with by god she's crazy and she sucks but like I doubt she would have acted like this after the first time loop
The part of this I can't wrap my head around is Cessios mother was first in line for the crown anyways. On top of the she had manipulative diction. There is absolutely no reason her younger sister should have been crowned instead. It makes me wonder just how pathetic of a person you have to be to be walked all over by someone who clearly resents you. And on top of that it's someone you could crush without a second thought. Ceres's stepbrother (the other prince) and his group is the one that made Ceres's life suffer.
The one saved the 8th division was the Queen who visited last time.
The Queen is actually the stepbrother's mistress who got pregnant and scared she would get killed, so she run to seek help to the emperor (father of Ceres and stepbrother).
Emperor is cold jerk who only seek amusement. So he though he want to watch all this fight going on.
So he decided to support that mistress by making her a Queen, and adopt his supposed grandson as his own son (3rd prince).
Queen wanted to get Ceres back to position as Crown Prince and take over the throne instead of the stepbrother.

Okay but this story kinda 8 in a real world sense? Like not all guys are jackasses but the ones who are tend to be the rich or hot guys, and they tend to treat girls like shit. Some girls are shallow and will chase that no matter what while others get piercings and tattoos to subvert the culture. But even a man hating blue haired feminist can fall in love with exactly what she thought she hated. This story has so much real world nuance mwah je t'aime
My thing with these kinds of stories is like... of you KNOW who killed your wife and you are 100% certain. Why not just execute the second wife there would have been some backlash but realistically YOUR THE KING nobody is about to do anything. At least not immediately
u answered ur own question i hate the empress too but if the emperor does something to the empress a coup d'état is very likely to happen and not only will he have lost his daughter, but he would end up losing his son too, this would happen because she has an astounding amount of support from the nobles. plus, the emperor is not able to prove she killed his ex wife, he can’t throw accusations like that even if he knew it happened
